Our summer came to an end last Wednesday. And looking back, by God's grace, I think it was our best summer yet! We were able to check off every single thing from our summer poster! Wow..that's never happened before.
We ended the season by taking our older girls and a friend to the Schaumburg Flyers game on the Saturday before they school started.( We were given the tickets by one of my day care families.) It was a fun evening and both friends spent the whole night with us. One last sleep over snuck in.
Then on the Monday night before school started we set the Big tent up in our back yard. The day care kids and our girls had fun with it during the day and at night Eric and the big girls watched Kung Fu Panda .I slept with them in the tent until the morning. :)

It was a rainy day, but then we realized even the girls umbrella's matched their outfits:).
The girls had a fun first day. Both are happy to have some old friends in class. How I pray this school year is filled with lots of fun, learning, saftey and grace from God!
We have so much to look forward to this year!.....
