Last Wednesday Eric, Corinn, Kiera and myself made a trip to Great America. Both Corinn and Kiera worked to get their tickets through the read to succeed program.Corinn had gone with a friend last year, but this was Kiera's first time there. It was neat to see the place through her eyes.
We had a lot of fun hanging out together! In fact Eric and I enjoyed just talking and being with our older two the most.
It was extremely hot....100 degrees in fact. So we hit a few rides and water rides and then went to the water park.
We ended up leaving the park around 5, the heat was really getting to us, and then going out to dinner.
I love these ages, 9 and 7. We have begun to have great conversations with them and that's what we did at dinner and on the way home. We heard about their dreams for their futures and some silly stories.
Eric and I are so blessed to have such intersting and fun girls to hang out with!

When we were going to Disney Land, we passed Six Flags! It looked like fun, but we were already just at Disney Land! I guess we'll have to wait another year...... sigh.....
Oh, I don't know how could even walk in the heat! Hopefully you were all wearing VERY summery clothes!

Oh my word, 100 degrees?! I was whining when it hit 79. I'm such a wimp, apparently! LOL.
The day did look like fun though.
