My Abba....

Karis and her Daddy

Growing up I spent a lot of time at my grandparents house. They lived only minutes from my own home and they were so much fun. My Papa was retired so he had lots of time to hang out. I remember following him around a lot. But my favorite thing to do with him was lay on his chest while he watched TV. He had a strong chest that felt safe to cuddle into.

Often times as an adult I've thought of the safety of his chest. I can't help but think of God holding me like that when I pray sometimes. After all He is my Abba Father (Romans 8:15).

Eric and I are making some big decisions regarding our future right now. We feel A LOT of peace, but we'd love prayer that the Lord would clearly lead us.

How thankful I am that I have His big chest, in a sense, to lean on right now. It has never felt safer!
